KinsLe App Terms of Use
Last updated: October 29, 2026
1. Who we are and what these Terms cover
These App Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Logly Technology LLC, doing business as KinsLe (“KinsLe,” “we,” “us”). They cover the KinsLe mobile app, the KinsLe web pages you reach from it (including Pet Pass, Care Pass and Lost Pet Alert pages), and our related services (together, the “Service”).
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy at [kinsle.app/privacy](https://kinsle.app/privacy). If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
2. Eligibility and your account
- You must be at least 13 years old to use KinsLe. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms for you.
- Give accurate information when you sign up, and keep it up to date.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account. If you think someone else has access, tell us at [support@kinsle.com](mailto:support@kinsle.com).
- Don’t impersonate anyone, and don’t create an account for someone else without their permission.
3. Your content
“Content” means anything you add to KinsLe, such as photos, videos, posts, stories, comments, messages, pet profiles, notes and alerts.
- You own your content. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, display, format and share your content, only to run, provide and improve the Service and in the way your choices in the app direct (for example, showing a post to your followers or sharing a pet page by link).
- This license ends when you delete the content or your account. It continues only for copies that others have already shared, for backups kept for a limited time, or where the law requires us to keep it.
- You confirm that you have the right to share what you post and that it follows these Terms.
4. Community rules: zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users
KinsLe has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You may not post, send or share content, or act in a way, that:
- harasses, bullies, threatens, stalks or intimidates anyone;
- is hateful or discriminatory toward people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age or any other protected trait;
- is sexually explicit or pornographic, or sexualizes minors in any way;
- shows, encourages or promotes cruelty, abuse or neglect of animals, animal fighting, or the illegal sale of animals;
- promotes violence, self-harm or dangerous acts;
- is false or misleading in a way that could cause harm, including fake lost-pet or found-pet reports and reward scams;
- shares another person’s private information (such as a home address, phone number or email) without their permission;
- infringes anyone’s copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights;
- is spam or unsolicited advertising;
- contains malware, or tries to access accounts, data or systems without permission; or
- breaks any law.
5. Reporting, blocking and how we act
- Report: you can report any post, comment, profile or message from the app. The person you report is not told who reported them. Once you report something, it is hidden from you.
- Block: you can block any member. A member you block can’t see your profile or posts, find you in search or send you direct messages. You can unblock them at any time.
- What we do: we review reports and act on objectionable content within 24 hours. We remove content that breaks these Terms and remove (eject) users who post it. We may also remove content, or suspend or close accounts, without a report when we believe these Terms have been broken. We may use automated tools to help us review content.
- Lost pets come first: Lost Pet Alerts stay visible to people nearby, including people you have blocked, so that a lost pet can be found.
- Emergencies: KinsLe is not an emergency service. If a person is in danger, call your local emergency number. For an animal emergency, contact a veterinarian or your local animal control.
6. Messaging
Use direct messages and pet threads for genuine pet-related conversation. Don’t use them to spam, sell to or harass people. The people in a conversation can see the messages in it. A pet’s thread can include the pet’s owner, their Care Circle and, while the pet is reported lost, the people helping to find it.
7. Pet Pass, Care Pass and Lost Pet Alerts
Pet Pass.
- Your pet’s Pet Pass QR code or link opens a public KinsLe page. Anyone with the code or link can open it without an account.
- The page shows your pet’s name, photo and whether your pet is reported lost. It never shows your phone number or email.
- Someone who finds your pet can message you from the page. They must give their name and a phone number or email so you can reach them. We send their message to you in KinsLe Messenger and by email. We do not share your contact details with them. You decide what, if anything, to share when you get back to them.
- For safety, Pet Pass codes refresh regularly and an old code can stop working. You can get a fresh code in the app at any time.
- If you contact an owner through a Pet Pass page, you agree to give accurate details, to use the page only to help return the pet, and not to misuse anyone’s information.
Care Pass.
- A Care Pass is a temporary link you create to share care information with a sitter, walker or other caregiver. It shows only the care information you choose to include (for example duties, feeding, medications, vet details, emergency contacts and house notes), and only between the dates you set.
- Anyone who has the link can see it while it is active, so share it only with people you trust. You can turn a Care Pass off at any time. Once it ends or you turn it off, the link no longer shows any pet information.
- You are responsible for keeping the care information you share accurate. Caregivers may use it only to care for the pet during the pass.
Lost Pet Alerts.
- When you post a Lost Pet Alert, the alert (including your pet’s name, photos, description, last-seen area and any reward you mention) is shown to KinsLe members nearby and may be shared publicly to help find your pet. Include only the contact details you are comfortable sharing that widely.
- We can’t guarantee that a lost pet will be found, and we are not responsible for what people who respond do. Meet in a safe public place, and never pay a reward before your pet is safely back with you. Any reward is between you and the finder.
8. Subscriptions and payments
- Plans. KinsLe Personal is free. Paid plans (KinsLe Family, KinsLe Family Large and KinsLe Business) add pets and features. The app shows the current price, billing period and features before you buy.
- Free trials. Some plans start with a free trial. Each account can use a trial for a plan once. If you don’t cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your subscription starts and you will be charged. If you buy a subscription during a free trial, the unused part of the trial ends.
- Apple App Store purchases. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase, or when your free trial ends. Your subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the then-current price. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings.
- Google Play purchases. If you subscribe through Google Play, Google Play’s billing terms apply in the same way, and you manage or cancel your subscription in Google Play.
- Cancelling. Deleting the app or your KinsLe account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel it in your store account settings.
- Refunds. Apple handles refunds for App Store purchases under its own policies ([reportaproblem.apple.com](https://reportaproblem.apple.com)), and Google handles refunds for Google Play purchases.
- Price changes. We may change our prices. We will give you notice as the law and the app store require, and a new price applies from your next billing period.
- Pet limits. Each plan has a pet limit. If your plan ends, or you move to a plan with a lower limit, you may need to archive or remove pets to fit the new limit, and some features for pets above the limit may be unavailable until you do or until you upgrade. A plan change does not delete your pets’ records.
- Promotions. Promo codes and complimentary plans may have their own terms and can’t be exchanged for cash.
9. Kinny, Kimmy and health information
Our assistants, Kinny and Kimmy, use automated technology, including artificial intelligence, to answer questions, suggest places and summarize your pet’s information. Their answers can be wrong or incomplete. KinsLe is not a veterinarian, and nothing in the Service is veterinary advice. Always ask a licensed veterinarian about your pet’s health. In an emergency, contact a veterinarian or an emergency animal hospital right away. Don’t rely on reminders in the app as the only way to keep track of medication or care.
10. Businesses and other third parties
KinsLe may show businesses, services, products and places, such as groomers, vets, sitters and shop listings. They are independent of us. We don’t employ them and don’t guarantee their services. A booking or purchase is between you and them unless we clearly say otherwise. Third-party websites and services have their own terms.
11. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy at [kinsle.app/privacy](https://kinsle.app/privacy) explains what information we collect and how we use and share it.
12. Ending your account
- You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Privacy Choices → Delete account).
- We may suspend or close your account if you break these Terms, if the law requires it, or to protect members, pets or KinsLe.
- Sections 3 (for content already shared), 13, 14, 15, 16 and 19 continue to apply after your account ends.
13. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DON’T PROMISE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OR SECURE, OR THAT A LOST PET WILL BE FOUND.
14. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, LOGLY TECHNOLOGY LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, EMPLOYEES AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR US $100. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
15. Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify Logly Technology LLC against claims, losses and costs (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) that arise from your content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.
16. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought only in the state or federal courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida, and you and we agree to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. This does not limit any rights you have under the consumer protection laws of the place where you live.
17. Apple App Store terms
If you downloaded the app from Apple’s App Store:
- These Terms are between you and Logly Technology LLC, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
- You receive a limited, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as allowed by the Usage Rules in Apple’s Media Services Terms and Conditions.
- Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the app.
- If the app fails to meet an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app (if any). To the maximum extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.
- Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or anyone else relating to the app or your use of it, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar laws.
- If anyone claims that the app or your use of it infringes their intellectual property rights, Logly Technology LLC, not Apple, is responsible for investigating, defending, settling and resolving that claim.
- You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated by the U.S. Government as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. Once you accept these Terms, Apple has the right to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.
- Please send any questions, complaints or claims about the app to us at the address in section 20.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.
19. General
These Terms, our Privacy Policy and any plan terms shown to you at purchase are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service. If any part of these Terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don’t enforce a part of these Terms, we are not waiving our right to enforce it later. You may not transfer these Terms without our written consent. We may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
